Gacitua Bridal is an inclusive bridal design house based in Los Angeles, California. Relaunched after the pandemic by costume designer and wardrobe stylist Mauva Gacitua, we consistently strive for excellence. Our mission is to help every woman look elegant, beautiful, and graceful when it matters most.
We often choose clothing that helps us navigate the world. At Gacitua Bridal, we design gowns for women who want to do this with intention. Our goal is to help you feel your best so you can truly look your best on your special day.
Our Labels
We created two labels to make our gowns more accessible: Gacitua and M. Gacitua.
M. Gacitua serves women who want couture, luxury designs that capture the essence of their event. Gacitua offers ready-to-wear, stylish options for women who seek elegance without the luxury price tag.
Ethics & Craft
All of our garments are handmade and ethically produced with sustainability in mind. We use responsible sourcing and follow California and federal labor standards. We care for our artisans by ensuring fair wages and safe working conditions, reflecting our commitment to the quality of our designs and the well-being of the people who create them.
The Creative Mind Behind the Brand
Mauva Gacitua has always been involved in fashion, from designing clothes as a child to modeling and later working as a costume designer and wardrobe stylist. Fashion has always been her passion.
In 2019, she took a leap of faith and launched Gacitua Bridal to contribute something meaningful to the world. After pausing during much of the COVID period, she relaunched the brand and continues to support women who want to be their best selves while helping them create lasting memories.
Mauva also serves her community through philanthropic efforts such as The Wedding Gift initiative, an annual wedding salon experience for a bride who cannot afford her special day’s services. Brides-to-be are treated to a day of luxury and gifted wedding essentials, including a gown, flowers, and photography.
She also hosts a charity Tea Party benefitting families displaced by domestic violence, because everyone deserves the opportunity to experience a beautiful day.
